The Visit London Judges recognized that the Village continues to offer travellers everything they expect from a modern hostel and a real party atmosphere. They also saw how relentless we are in our efforts to improve the unique services we offer. The full time maintenance team, the free walking tours, our female only facilities and the all you can eat rooftop BBQs are just some of the reasons why the Village continues to provide a service and an experience that is second to none.

The St Christopher's Village is London's premier party hostel with a fantastic bar and nightclub. We have already built the entertainment and a free breakfast into your stay so that you can cut to the tourist chase. If you want something a bit quieter then try the nearby Orient Espresso.

You are in a very central location when you stay at any of the St. Christopher's hostels around London Bridge. The Village is the flagship of the St Christopher's fleet and you can find it nestled next to two other St Christopher's Inns, on Borough High Street. It's easy to get to from both the London Bridge and the Borough Underground Stations, which link up to the Northern and Jubilee Lines.

Inside we have an amazing Belushi's bar that serves up a free breakfast and cheap booze, when you show the staff your complimentary Beds and Bars Card. In the basement, there is a late license nightclub and upstairs you will find a sauna, a BBQ and a rooftop hot tub. There are 4 bed, 6 bed, 8 bed, 10 bed, 12 bed and 14 bed dorms available along with private twin rooms.

Just over the road, you will find Borough Market - a fruit and veggie paradise that has expanded to include organic foods, wild game burgers, crocodile and kangaroo meat, international cuisine and free samples everywhere you turn. It is also, where several key scenes in Bridget Jones were filmed.

A short 5-minute walk will take you to the Thames River and a scenic Southbank walk. This takes you past the picturesque Tower Bridge, the stoic London Tower, the infamous Shakespeare's Globe Theatre and the weirdly wonderful Tate Modern Gallery. Also en route you will come across the National Film Theatre, the London Eye, the Salvador Dali Museum, the London Aquarium and finally Westminster Bridge. This short 45-minute stroll leaves you at the Parliament Buildings, Westminster Abbey and Big Ben.

If you do not want to does it all in one go you can always stop off at one of the many bars, pubs and restaurants. The variety is wide enough to suit any palate and budget. One of our favourite pit stops is Giraffe, not far from the London Eye.

There's so much to see and do in London and the odds are that you could spend an entire year here and still not tick everything off your to do list. But give it your best go and at the end of the day when you're absolutely exhausted, you'll be happy to come home to St. Christopher's. Our comfy chill-out room was built with this in mind so that you guys could catch up on your journaling or curl up in front of a good movie.

Important note:
Please be aware that you must show a photo I.D. when you arrive. We only accept passports or a driving license as I.D.
Guests under the age of 18 years of age must stay in a private room with guardians they can not share in general dormitory rooms with persons that are not part of their own group or family. Fewer than 18s are not allowed the bars or pubs.
Cancellation policy: if you do not turn up for the first night, the amount of 1st nights will be charged and all other reservations/nights will be cancelled.

1. From the Stansted Airport Rail Station take the one train to Liverpool Street Station
